The current fishing conditions and upcoming seasons are promising a fantastic experience for both beginners and seasoned pros.

Starting with our offshore news, Red Groupers have been showing up in numbers recently, especially around the 85ft mark. Notably, a few Cobias have also made appearances in our hauls over the past two weeks. On longer trips, particularly those lasting 8 hours or more, Lane Snapper bites have been consistent. These beauties are not only a joy to reel in, but they also make a delicious addition to the dinner table.

As for our near shore trips (4hr to 6hr), Spanish Mackerel are still in abundance. These swift, silver swimmers add to the excitement with their acrobatic leaps when hooked. A few Kingfish are also being caught, providing a delightful challenge for those seeking a thrilling light-tackle battle.

If you’re keen on variety, you’ll be pleased to hear that Porgies, Grunts, short Red Groupers, and Gags are plentiful on our near shore trips. These species provide an array of opportunities for anglers of all skill levels to enjoy a rewarding day on the water.

Now, let’s talk about the upcoming Red Snapper season. We’re gearing up for what promises to be an excellent season, kicking off June 1st! These prized game fish will be the primary target on all 10-12 hour and overnight trips. But don’t be surprised to reel in a few even on our 8-hour excursions.
